Our mission is patient centered and strives to provide state of the art diagnosis and treatment to patients affected by a broad range of rheumatologic conditions. In keeping with this goal, we value honesty, integrity, attention to detail and active patient involvement in their health.

Dr Roderick H. Salach

Dr-Salach-HeadshotDr Roderick H. Salach is a board- certified rheumatologist who has practiced rheumatology exclusively since 1995. He received his bachelor’s degree in Biological Science at Florida State University and then was awarded his DO degree from the Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.

He completed a one year rotating Osteopathic internship in Chicago and then completed his training in internal medicine at the Loyola University Affiliated Hospitals and the Chicago Osteopathic Hospitals and Medical Centers in 1992. Before starting his fellowship training in rheumatology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland Ohio in 1993, he worked as an associate faculty member for Nova Southeastern University of Health Sciences in Broward and Dade counties.

He has been in private practice in Brevard County since 1997 and started Space Coast Rheumatology and Arthritis Center in 2001. He has medical staff privileges at Parrish Medical Center, Cape Canaveral Hospital and Weustoff Medical center in Rockledge. Dr Salach is a active member of The American College of Rheumatology, The Florida Society of Rheumatology, The American Osteopathic Association, The Florida Osteopathic Medical Association and The American College of Osteopathic Internists. He enjoys boating, fishing and raising Orchids with his wife and two daughters.

Traci Futch-West, MSN, ARNP, PNP-C,FNP-C

She received her Master of Science in Nursing from University of South Florida in 2010 as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She returned to University of South Florida for a Post Master’s Degree in Family Practice in 2012. She maintains her certifications through American Nurses Credentialing Center, ANCC. Traci has been working in Brevard County for over 15 years in the nursing field. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida as well in 2002.

Traci started her nursing career in 2002 working in Medical Surgical Unit at Wuesthoff. Over time she worked in the observation unit, case management, utilization review and ended her Career at Wuesthoff as the Site Administrator. After leaving Wuesthoff, she worked in private practice as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for many years.
Traci is married with three children. She enjoys attending various events with her children, boating, and traveling. She loves the Florida State Seminoles!

Meet Our Staff

Brenda Adams, Office Manager

A native from Pennsylvania that relocated to Florida in 1988 after marrying my high school sweet heart.  We have three children and two fur babies and are looking forward to becoming grandparents.  I enjoy spending time with family and making new memories!

I have been in the medical field for over 22 years, working in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and presently Rheumatology.

I take pride on providing our patients with the best staff and excellent customer service in our office. We are here to make your experience in our office the absolute best!

Michaela Brandt, Front Desk & Medical Assistant

A native from Kiel, Germany that relocated to Florida in 2011 with my husband and two adult children.

I have been a medical assistant since 1980 working in the following fields, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Ophathalmology, Urology, Urogynecology, Home Health Care and now Rheumatology.

I love to learn languages, enjoy doing arts & craftwork, and I love to ride my pink scooter – which you might see in front of our Merritt Island Office!!

Patricia Prince, Medical Assistant

A native Floridian, that was born and raised in Titusville.  I have graduated from Kaiser University with an AS degree in Radiologic Technologist, Florida Metropolitan University with an AS degree in Medical Administrative Assistant.

I have been working as a Medical Assistant and Xray Tech with Dr. Salach since 2007.

I am currently pursuing my BS degree in Advanced Allied Health at Eastern Florida State College.

Sophia Bodrogi, Medical Assistant & Scribe

A native from Arizona that relocated to Florida in 2011.  I graduated from Keiser University with an Associates of Science in Medical Assisting.
I previously worked in pediatrics and have been working with Dr. Salach since 2015.
